Terms of Use — Nurelio Pet

These terms apply to the Nurelio Pet app (iOS/Android) and its related services. For purchases made through the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) applies in addition. If the German and English versions differ, the German version prevails.

1. Provider and scope

The app is provided by Helge Lange / PrettyLights Software (full details in the imprint). By installing and using the app you agree to these terms.

2. Services

Nurelio Pet helps you organize the care of your pets: medications and supplies, vet appointments, feeding, walks, weight and a journal. These features are free and work without an account. Keeping track together with your family (sync between devices, the Family Cup and other family features) is part of the paid Premium offer.

Important: Nurelio Pet does not replace veterinary advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always discuss dosage and treatment with your vet. Reminders depend on your device, its settings and network connections — do not rely solely on the app for important doses.

Vet search results and map data come from third parties (including OpenStreetMap) and are provided without warranty. Walk routes and distances are based on your device's location services and may be inaccurate.

3. Account and family

You only need an account for Premium and the family (sign in with email and password, with Apple or with Google). Whoever creates a family and subscribes to Premium is its owner; other members join with a free account and use Premium through the owner. The owner approves new members; who can see which pet is decided by the owner and by the person who added the pet.

What you enter in the family (for example entries, notes and photos) is visible to the members who have access to that pet. You are responsible for your content and only enter what you are allowed to share. You can delete your account at any time in the app — see Delete your account.

4. Family Cup

The Family Cup awards points for completed tasks and shows a leaderboard. Prizes and team goals are set by the family owner and are private arrangements within the family. PrettyLights Software does not provide any prizes and accepts no liability for them.

5. Purchases, subscriptions and prices

All purchases are processed exclusively through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The price shown in the store at the time of purchase applies (including VAT; it may differ by store region).

• Premium (monthly subscription): unlocks the family features. New customers can try Premium free for 7 days if the store shows this offer. After that, the subscription renews automatically for one month at a time unless it is cancelled in the store at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Supporter Pack (monthly subscription): a voluntary way to support development, without additional features. Renewal and cancellation as above. Switching to Premium replaces the Supporter subscription.

You can cancel at any time in the subscription settings of your Apple or Google account. Deleting the app or your account does not end a running subscription.

6. Withdrawal and refunds

Since purchases are processed by Apple or Google, withdrawal and refunds are governed by their terms and procedures. Request refunds directly from Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play. When buying digital content, you agree that performance begins before the withdrawal period ends; to that extent, the statutory right of withdrawal expires once performance has begun.

7. Availability and changes

We keep developing Nurelio Pet; features may change, be added or be removed as long as the core benefit of the purchased offer is preserved. There is no entitlement to uninterrupted availability of the server services; we announce maintenance interruptions where possible.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence, we are only liable for breaches of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. The app is an organizational aid — responsibility for caring for your pets, actually giving medications and veterinary decisions lies with you and your vet.

9. Privacy

Information on how personal data is processed can be found in the privacy policy. To improve the app, we collect anonymous usage counts that are not linked to your account — details and how to object in section 13 of the privacy policy.

10. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
